Call of Duty World at War Map Pack 3 is a Shooting game available on the 360.

Call of Duty World at War Map Pack 3 is a Shooting game. Shooting games present a world in which the character must shoot their way out of dangerous situations. They provide the player with an array of weapons tailored to specific tasks. This unavoidably involves a combination of fisticuffs and gun based fighting that dictates the violent nature of these experiences. Beneath this harsh exterior though is often an intricate tactile game - and this is usually what drives the player.

Call of Duty: World at War Map Pack 3 is the third map pack for Call of Duty: World at War (I was first tipped off by the name). I think we all know the drill by now - three new normal maps, one new zombie map. I thought that each map was good, and the Zombie map doubly so, but of course whether or not this is for you depends entirely on your enjoyment of the original online. Didn't like it then? Then you won't like it now.

Many, many people whinged when it was announced that Call of Duty 5 was going to be set in WWII, rather than the modern era. Treyarch probably started development from as soon as Call of Duty 3 was released, so I doubt the decision to not emulate Modern Warfare was deliberate. However, I know think that it was the right thing to do. Imagine if Call of Duty 5: World At War had been called Call of Duty 5: Modern Warfare. We would have been playing Call of Duty 4 online for a year. Then we would have played Call of Duty 5 online for a year. And soon we'll be playing Call of Duty 6 for a year. Imagine if they all used the same setting just how bored would you be.
