Dark Void Zero is a Platforming game available on the DS IPHONE.

Dark Void Zero is a Platforming game. Platform games task you with getting from point A to point B. The world you journey through is usually based on different levels, and populated with enemies, switches and lifts to be negotiated. As you work through each level you pick up various collectables that accrue score, special abilities and access to hidden areas.

Dark Void Zero recreates history in tangible playable beauty. Amongst the clamour for new, more and better it's refreshing to revisit the past with such dignity. Great to see the children's mind boggle as they comprehend a long gone era of gaming as well.

The unusual back story to the game is an invented history that Dark Void Zero is the revival of a long lost project. In reality this is simply a new take on the game with classic NES visuals.

Dark Void Zero plays the nostalgia card in style. Coming to iPhone and iPod Touch from the DSi, it continues our trip to the alternate history of this supposedly cancelled NES game. Not scary, but hugely faithful to those unnerving 8-bit moments.

The 80's fashion and music revival casts its influence net wide and catches a juicy little Capcom carp by the name of Dark Void Zero. Set in the Dark Void universe, Dark Void Zero is a prequel to the original console release. Rather than simply making an origin story, Other Ocean have taken a more novel approach - crafting a product with its own history as a cancelled 8-bit Nintendo Entertainment System title. While it may only offer simple old-school platforming, it manages to outshine the full release thanks to its fantastic level design and authentic feel.
