Line Rider 2 is a Strategy game. Strategy games provide experiences that require quick thinking, and forward planning from the gamer. They combine the unfolding tactics of classic games like chess, with more recent board games such as Risk. Usually focusing on a theatre of war context, players enjoy the tactical overview of the battle these games provide.

Hurling a little guy on a sledge down a hill makes Line Rider 2 sound instantly appealing. Originally a PC title, the sandbox physics fun the game is a good fit for the Wii. Unfortunately, overly complicated menu navigation and tricky controls made accessing the promises of my imagination more of a challenge than I had bargained for.

I was never much good at physics. Of all the sciences it was the one that appealed to me the most, explaining all of mysteries of the world that I was fascinated by in my youth. But somewhere in the mix of equations and numbers it stopped being a magical answer to my questions and became work. Games such as Line Rider 2 are present me an opportunity to rekindle the joy I once felt for the subject through simple play.

Despite its name, Line Rider 2: Unbound is the first time the popular web game has come to the DS. Like N+ DS this game looks to repeat the success of the PC on Nintendo's handheld machine.

Puzzle games pose the player a problem to solve, and then provided a limited set of tools with which to solve it. This can be as simple as arranging 2D blocks on top of each other, or as complex as balancing objects in a 3D environment.
