Trials HD on 360

Trials HD Screen Shots

Trials HD is a Platforming game available on the 360. It can be played in Thirdperson modes.

Trials HD is a Platforming game. Platform games task you with getting from point A to point B. The world you journey through is usually based on different levels, and populated with enemies, switches and lifts to be negotiated. As you work through each level you pick up various collectables that accrue score, special abilities and access to hidden areas.

Trials HD can be played in a Thirdperson mode. Third Person games view the world from over the right shoulder of the character being controlled. This enables you to see the character you are controlling as well as their surrounds. Although not as immersive as first person, third person games enable more complex moves and interactions with the environment.

I have an architect uncle. This meant that, growing up, I had some rich older cousins. One splendid Christmas afternoon they introduced me to a machine that seemed to offer a window into an incredible new reality where the sky was bluer, people blockier and world more inviting. That machine was the Amstrad CPC 6128 and the game was Bombjack II, a fine if undistinguished platformer. I played it until way past bedtime knowing full well that I was hooked.
