Steve Martin once said, 'Some people have a way with words. Other people... don't have way.' After much introspection I’ve realized that this is very true for myself.

A Drawn review is my gut reaction to whatever game I’ve just played, and, as a service to the intelligent reader, it will be dispensed with as many pictures and as few words as I can manage.

But these are just any old drawing thrown on the page, each frame has been handcrafted with my little old mouse. No pens and pencils were harmed (or used) in the making of these films.

So join me as I take a unique stroll through the world of video games, old and new.

With so many different perspectives it can be hard to know where to start - a little like walking into a crowded pub. Sorry about that.

But so far we've not found a way to streamline our review output - there's basically too much of it. So, rather than dilute things for newcomers we have decided to live with the hubbub while helping new readers find the columnists they will enjoy.
