I like bikes and video games because they both spark my imagination and provide seemingly infinite possibilities and just generally make me smile.
Two things that have had a presence in my life from an early age are bikes and games. I have fond memories of both, and they intertwine. Sonic and Tails reminds me of my stabilizers being taken off.
Recently though, the two have started to truly come together.For me, biking and gaming are both escapes from the daily grind, a way to deal with everything and a way to have fun and just be myself.
I don't claim to be an expert in either field, and I don't think I will ever stop learning about either. They are definitely some of those things where the journey is more important than the final destination.
As a self-confessed geek-girl, the cycling itself is not the only reason I'm in love with bikes. They are a platform for building upon - adding bits, changing pieces, using gadgets. I'll feel the same anticipation building up inside when I'm thinking of something to modify on my bike as I feel when I've got a new game to play.

With so many different perspectives it can be hard to know where to start - a little like walking into a crowded pub. Sorry about that.
But so far we've not found a way to streamline our review output - there's basically too much of it. So, rather than dilute things for newcomers we have decided to live with the hubbub while helping new readers find the columnists they will enjoy.
