Our Columnists

We are a small but merry band of writers, tapping away each week on our niche columns:

Paul Govan - The Family Gamer
Jon Starkey - The Race Gamer
Simon Barker - The Tech Gamer
Andy Robertson - Games Analyst
Dom Roberts - The Perpetual Gamer
Luke Pyper - The Fit Gamer

We are games writers with a difference. Throwing mass media out the window, this is personal media. We don't just want to be read by you, we want to interact with you, chat with you and even get to know you (well, a bit at least).

Welcome to Game People, we're glad you made it here. But where is here, right? Well, we are something like a republic of video game writers. A rag tag bunch who believe that people matter more than technology. This is the place where games and individuals intersect, and quite often something magical happens. When it does we want to be there to tell you about it and then find out how it compared for you.

Like you, our writers come from all walks of life. Parents, young adults, teenagers, mid-lifers and retirees all with busy lives; but also like you, fitting in some games along the way. Before too long you should be able to find someone enough like you to read and understand.

We want to let you know who you are reading. You are not an audience to us, rather a potential community to validate, engage with and even disagree with the things we write. We want to help you care about the things you are reading by letting you into the lives of those doing the writing. So each of us spends easily as much time chatting on facebook and mini-blogging on twitter with you, as we do writing the articles.

Forget mass media, this is personal media. Here's a little taste of what we've been working on with our readers recently:

The story so far...
